ASEAN Corporate Governance Performance Index (ACGS)
To improve GCG quality, BRI adopts the principles of Corporate Governance issued by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. The assessment of GCG implementation is carried out by an independent party, namely the Indonesian Institute of Corporate Directorship (IICD) according to ACGS criteria in 2017. BRI scores 99.53 or Very Good in rating with the following details:

Corporate Governance Performance Index
Pursuant to POJK No. 55/POJK.03/2016 and Circular Letter of OJK No. 13/SEOJK.03/2017 on the Implementation of Corporate Governance for Commercial Banks, the Bank shall conduct a comprehensive and structured Self Assessment that are integrated into 3 (three) Governance aspects:
Governance Structure
The assessment aims to assess the adequacy of the Bank’s governance structure and infrastructure to ensure a desirable outcome for the stakeholders with such GCG implementation.
Governance Process
The assessment aims to assess the effectiveness of GCG implementation withthe adequacy of the Bank’s governance structure and infrastructure to ensure a desirable outcome for the stakeholders with such GCG implementation.
Governance Outcome
The assessment aims to assess desirable outcomes of the Bank’s Stakeholders as a result of the GCG implementation with the adequacy of the Bank’s governenance structure and infrastructure.
