What is AURORA Insurance?

It is a term life insurance product with life protection benefits, critical illnesses and premium returns at the end of the insurance period.​​​​​​​

SUPERIORITY

  • Life protection against any risk

  • Sum Insured up to IDR 5,000,000,000 (Five Billion Rupiah).
  • Premium return of 50% or 110% of the total paid for 5 years.​​​​​​​

CONDITIONS

Entry Age

  1. Policyholder: Minimum age of 21 to 70 years with age provision plus insurance period of not more than 78 years.
  2. Insured: Minimum age of 17 to 65 years with the provision of age plus an insurance period of not more than 73 years.
  3. Insurance Period: 8 (eight) years.
  4. Premium Payment Period: 5 (five) years.
  5. Premium Payment Period: Monthly, Semesterly and Annually.
  6. Sum Insured: IDR 150,000,000 up to. IDR 5.000.000.000,-
  7. Premium: Starts from Rp196.500,-") and depends on sum insured, entry age and choice of premium return plan.

COST

The premium paid by the customer includes administrative costs, policy maintenance and printing costs, marketing costs and commission fees provided by BRI Life to Bank BRI in the framework of this collaboration.​​​​​​​

BENEFIT

  • Death Benefit for any risk of 100% of the Sum Insured.
  • Benefits of Having a Critical Illness**) of 50% of the Sum Insured.
  • Premium Refunds
  • If the Insured remains alive until the end of the insurance period, the benefit of the return of the total premium paid with the option amount of 50% and 110% will be paid

 

**)The critical illness covered is

  1. cancer
  2. Heart Attack
  3. Stroke
  4. Renal Failure
  5. Hepatitis Fulminant​​​​​​​

EXCEPTION

Exceptions for Death Benefit caused by:

  • The insured dies before the expiration of the grace period of 12 (twelve) months from the date of start of insurance that is not caused by an accident;
  • Acts of suicide, attempted suicide or self-deprecation by the insured either done in a conscious / sane state or in an unconscious / sane state;
  • Other (Unsecured Risk) exceptions refer to the Policy.

 

Exceptions for Critical Illness Benefits with the following conditions:

a) Critical Illness experienced by the Insured before the expiration of the grace period of 12 (Twelve) Months as the Insurance Start Date;

b) Critical Illness experienced by the Insured before the Insurance Start Date

c) Exceptions (Unsecured Risks) otherwise refer to the Policy.​​​​​​​

CLAIM PROCEDURE

  1. Get a Claim Form by contacting your Marketer, or BRI Life Call at 1500087. The Claim Form is also downloaded on the BRI Life www.brilife.co.id.
  2. Fill out the Claim Form correctly and completely.
  3. Prepare the required documents to include. The required documents can be viewed in your Policy.
  4. Submit/Submit the Claim Form along with the required documents either directly, by post, or through your Marketer, to the head office of PT. BRI Life Insurance.​​​​​​​

HOW TO CLAIM

  • Submit Claim Documents to the BRI Life Service Office / Marketers in accordance with the required documents.
  • BRI Life receives and verifies claim documents. (1-3 Business Days)
  • The customer receives a confirmation of the claim and receives the benefit payment.

(14 Business Days)

 

  1. BRI LIFE will provide a claim decision and claim payment within 14 (fourteen) working days from the time the claim document is received completely and correctly at the Head Office and does not require special investigation.

  1. In the event that BRI LIFE requires a special investigation, then within 60 (sixty) working days from the time the claim document is received completely and correctly at the Head Office, BRI Life will decide whether the claim will be paid or rejected, if the claim decision is paid, BRI Life will make payment of the claim within 14 (fourteen) working days from the date of the claim decision.​​​​​​​
