What is CERIA?
CERIA is BRI’s digital loan for transactions at online merchants such as e-commerce or online travel sites.
What is the loan limit of CERIA?
Loan limit starts from Rp. 500,000.00 (five hundred thousand rupiah) and maximum Rp. 20,000,000.00 (twenty million rupiah).
What is the tenure of CERIA?
The loan tenure of CERIA is between 1 – 12 months.
What is the interest rate of CERIA?
1.42% flat per month or 26.95% effective per annum.
What is the age requirement to apply for CERIA facility?
The customers’ minimum age requirement to apply for CERIA is 21 years and maximum 50 years.
Who can access CERIA app?
All BRI customers with ATM card, BRI saving account and e-KTP.
What are the benefits of using CERIA?
More convenient online transactions with CERIA through payment installments, with the following benefits:

Can I submit CERIA applications from all over Indonesia?
Yes, you can download the CERIA application from wherever you are and can be used at online merchants that have collaborated with BRI.
Where can I use CERIA credit?
CERIA credit limit can be used to make a purchase at BRI partner merchants. List of the merchants is available at the main page of CERIA application.

What if I do not have/own an e-KTP, can I create a CERIA account?
You cannot create CERIA account if you don't have an e-KTP.
What is the difference between your domicile address and residential address?
Residential address is your address that is specified on your ID and your Family Card, while your domicile address is the address where you currently live. Your domicile address may be different from your residential address on the ID.
What is a Digital Signature? Why do I need it?
An electronic signature (digital signature) is an electronic information that is attached to, associated with or related to other electronic information and used as a verification and authentication tool.
An electronic signature used in CERIA has the same legal force as a wet signature as regulated in Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions.
The Electronic Signature is required as a substitute for a wet signature in approving and verifying CERIA Facility Application Request Form as stipulated in Bank Indonesia’s Provision on Card-Based Payment Instruments.
Why do I need to provide a selfie when activating CERIA?
Taking a selfie (photo of yourself) is a part of Know Your Customer implementation in lieu of the obligation to conduct a direct face-to-face verification as stipulated in the Financial Services Authority Regulation No. 12/POJK.01/2017 concerning APU PPT.
Can I change my handphone number that has been registered on CERIA application?
Yes, you can change your registered handphone by registering the new number and inputting the OTP code that you receive through the new handphone.
What if I want to change my personal data?
You can submit a request for a change in personal data other than your handphone number and email by contacting BRI Contact Center at 14017 or 1500017.
What data can I change besides my handphone number and email?
You can change your residential address and salary.
How to register CERIA?
1. Download the CERIA application in the Play Store via the Android mobile
2. Enter your cellphone number and checklist in the CERIA Terms and Conditions
3. Enter the OTP code sent via sms to the user's mobile number
4. Create a PIN and confirm the PIN
5. The CERIA account was successfully created

What are the requirements to become CERIA customers?
Requirements to become CERIA customers:
1. Indonesian Citizenship.
2. e-KTP.
3. NPWP (optional).
4. Bank BRI savings account holder.
5. Collectability Level 1 (Pass) in the SLIK.
6. Minimum 21 years old and maximum 50 years old.
7. No possession of credit cards from more than 2 (two) issuers with salary under Rp. 10 million per month.
8. Minimum fixed salary of Rp. 3 million per month.
9. Possession of a smartphone with Android operating system of at least version 4.4, which is connected to the internet network with a registered GSM or CDMA number.
What documents are required to apply for CERIA?
When applying for CERIA facility, please prepare the following documents:
1. E-KTP.
2. BRI Account Number.
3. BRI ATM Card.
4. NPWP (optional).
5. BPJS Kesehatan (additional).

How to apply for a CERIA credit limit?
1. Select the "Submit Credit Limit" button
2. Verify the BRI account by entering the active BRI ATM card number

6. Credit decision complete. To see the credit decision was rejected or approved, the user opens an email that has been registered in the CERIA application

Will applying for CERIA facility and/or making other transactions in the app be subject to administrative fees?
BRI does not charge the customers any administrative fees. You will only be charged interest fees that are based on the applicable provisions when doing a transaction.
How long is my CERIA application process until I get notified for a result?
The normal time required by the system to process a CERIA application from the customer (approval process) that is 10 minutes.
Will my CERIA loan application be referred to the Financial Information Services System (SLIK) of OJK?
Your CERIA loan application will be referred to the Financial Information Services System (SLIK) of OJK during the scoring process to determine your eligibility of credit.
What is Credit Scoring?
Credit scoring is a system that is used to give an assessment on your credit application. Credit scoring will calculate your eligibility score according to the data that you have submitted such as personal data, family data and financial data when applying. These data will affect your application approval and determine the amount of credit limit that you will receive.
Will my loan application be definitely approved?
Your loan application approval will be considered based on the result of the assessment conducted on you, which will be calculated by a scoring engine based on: data validity, loan history in SLIK, and other assessment aspects.
Why is my loan application rejected?
There are a number of possible reasons for rejections, including :
1. You are not an Indonesian citizen with an electronic ID card that is registered at the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration.
2. You have not met the age criteria to apply for CERIA facility.
3. Your application score is not enough to be granted a loan.
4. Your net income is not enough to be granted a loan
5. Based on the Financial Information Services System (SLIK) data, you still have outstanding loan.
6. You have two or more credit cards from different bank issuers with salary per month less than Rp. 10 million.
What if I disagree with the credit limit?
Your loan application can still be cancelled as long as you have not activated the loan.
Why is OTP (One Time Password) code not delivered to my handphone number?
Please make sure that you enter your handphone number correctly and completely, and that the number is registered and active. You can try to request an OTP again via a number of options available in the app. If you still do not receive your OTP, you can contact BRI Contact Center at 14017 or 1500017 for assistance.
Will I be charged in phone credit for every OTP SMS I receive?
You will not be charged for every OTP SMS you receive.
If the submission process that I did was stopped, can I continue?
Yes, you can continue your submission process from the last stage that you filled out before it stopped
How do I log in to CERIA after I already have a CERIA account?
You only need to enter your CERIA account PIN
What if I enter my PIN incorrectly for 3 times in a row when I log in to the CERIA application?
If you enter your PIN incorrectly for 3 times in a row, your account will be temporarily blocked and you will be redirected to renew your PIN via "Forgot PIN" menu.
Is my personal information secure?
Yes, it is our priority to protect the information of every CERIA customer. Confidential information of all customers are securely stored and managed in our system, based on applicable regulations at Bank BRI.
Can my credit limit be disbursed in lump sum?
Your CERIA facility limit cannot be paid in lump sum, the limit will only be used to make transactions at any online merchant partner of BRI.

How do I make a transaction through CERIA?
1. Open the application of the CERIA merchant partner. The list of merchants is available on bri.co.id/web/ceria
2. Add the product you want to buy to cart
3. Choose CERIA as your payment method
4. Log in to your CERIA account, enter your mobile number and PIN
5. Choose your tenor
6. Confirm purchase
7. Enter the OTP sent through SMS to your mobile number
8. Transaction complete!
What should I do if I forget my PIN?
If you forget your PIN, you can tap the "Forgot PIN" menu. The system will then help you to renew your PIN via your registered email.
Is there any administrative fee for CERIA transactions?
BRI doesn’t impose any administrative fee on the customer. You are only responsible for the interest rate pursuant to the applicable terms and conditions based on your transaction. Any transaction fee is charged by the merchant based on the merchants’ respective policies.
Will I get any Rewards/Points if I make a transaction in CERIA app?
Currently, you will not get any reward from doing transaction on CERIA app.
How do I repay CERIA loan?
BRI has prepared an easy way for payments of CERIA facility, which is through auto debit installments. Payments will be automatically deducted from your BRI saving account so you don’t have to do it manually every month.
What if the bank account does not have sufficient funds?
If there is insufficient fund, auto debit cannot be made. Please ensure that there is sufficient fund in your bank account before the deadline to avoid any delay of payment that will result in a late payment fee.
What should I do if auto debit fails to deduct payment by the deadline?
If auto debit fails to deduct payment by the deadline, please ensure that your bank account has sufficient funds for automatic deduction in the next day.
What should I do if I want to make a payment to my installment without having to wait for the auto debit system to automatically deduct by the deadline?
Auto debit will be performed within 10 days after the deadline. Please ensure that your account has sufficient funds and also check the account if the automatic deduction has been made successfully.
What if there is any late of installment payment?
We will send you a notification through SMS, email, push notification and phone. Should there be any late payments, we will charge a late fee, which is 3% of the total outstanding balance or max. Rp. 150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand rupiah). Any late payment will affect your loan quality on SLIK OJK as well as your credit scoring score.
What will be the consequences of failing to pay CERIA facility?
Should you not make any payments, you will not be able to make any online purchase transactions until you pay off your outstanding loan.
You will also continue to receive payment reminders if you have not settled your repayments. Should you further fail to make any payments, we have the right to take action in accordance with the applicable regulations.
What will happen if I make overpayment on my CERIA installment?
The amount will be outstanding credit in your CERIA account.
Can the outstanding credit under my CERIA loan be transferred to my saving account in BRI?
Yes, you can, with the following requirements :
1. You have to request to make a transfer on the outstanding credit through BRI Contact Center at 14017 or 1500017.
2. The minimum outstanding amount is Rp. 100,000. If you want to close CERIA application/loan….
Will I be sent payment reminders?
Yes, you will be sent payment reminders through email, SMS, and push notifications. Details on your installments can be checked on the billing statement that will be sent through email.

What should I do if I want to block my CERIA loan account?
You can contact BRI Contact Center at 14017 or 1500017 to block your account after providing personal data that will be verified by BRI Contact Center Agent.
What should I do if I want to close my CERIA loan account?
You can close the account by contacting BRI Contact Center at 14017 or 1500017, to first find out the outstanding amount. You will also be required to make a deposit into your saving account at the minimum of the total outstanding amount, which will then be debited automatically on the auto debit date. After your total CERIA loan has been paid off, your CERIA account will close.

What if my CERIA credit limit has been deducted, but my purchase transaction did not go through?
Should your transaction failed but your CERIA credit limit has been deducted, please call BRI Contact Center at 14017 or 1500017.
What if my transaction was successful but the product is not delivered?
You may contact the merchant where you made the purchase. Contact center of each merchant is available at the website/application of each merchant.
What if there is a refund for a transaction that I made?
Should there be a refund, the amount will be used to pay your installments related to the transaction that you have made at the partner merchant via CERIA app. If the amount is more than the total of your remaining installments, it will be recorded as your credit balance.
How do I access all information related to my CERIA facility?
All information related to your CERIA facility are available in the application, including:
1. Transaction history.
2. Installment payment deadlines (including past and future payments).
3. Remaining credit limit.
